At B GREEN, we strive to always make the most environmentally friendly choices—not only in the production of our pots but also when we print our inspiration catalog and postcards, for example.
That’s why we collaborate with KLS PurePrint—a Danish printing company that is Cradle to Cradle certified!
Cradle to Cradle means “cradle to cradle” in Danish. It is a sustainable design concept that ensures products create value for people, the environment, and the economy. It is one of the world’s most ambitious environmental certifications, which demands accountability for the entire product lifecycle. It envisions a world where we benefit the planet without having to cut back on consumption and welfare. We enthusiastically look towards that vision, which is why we have chosen to work with KLS PurePrint.
Cradle to Cradle guarantees that the paper and printing inks are produced without chemicals and heavy metals listed on the Banned List of Chemicals, and that the catalog neither pollutes nor uses the Earth’s limited resources but rather integrates into nature’s own cycle. It also ensures that the printed products are produced under the most environmentally friendly conditions possible.
The inspiration catalog is produced CO2 neutrally, using only wind energy. The wood for the paper comes from FSC forestry, which ensures that no more trees are cut down than the forests can reproduce.
In a Cradle to Cradle world, all materials are healthy for the environment and can enter a continuous cycle. This world is where B GREEN belongs.
Many of our printed materials are actually so clean that you could eat them. Of course, we do not recommend that you do so, as they are designed for you to look at them repeatedly and feel inspired with a clear conscience.
