Three global goals we have been focused on since before they were called global goals
We strive to reduce our impact – day by day. Both environmentally and socially. That’s why we actively work with the Global Goals. For us, there is absolutely no excuse not to. Plus, it gives us all a better sense of well-being, both for us and for you.
We have a particular focus on three of the 17 Global Goals. Read more about the goals and initiatives below.
Goal No. 1: No Poverty
Far too many people still live in extreme poverty and struggle daily to meet their most basic human needs.
We are working purposefully to change this by having many of our handmade pots produced by small family businesses that need work to secure their livelihoods.

Goal No. 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth
According to the International Labour Organization (ILO), more than 204 million people were unemployed in 2015.
Our efforts towards this goal go hand in hand with our efforts towards Goal No. 1.
By finding more small independent producers who can assist us in the production of our pots, we are helping to ensure decent jobs for more families.
Goal No. 12: Responsible Consumption and Production
Economic growth and sustainable development require us to reduce our footprint on nature by changing the way we produce and consume our goods and resources.
That’s why at B GREEN, we continuously work to avoid the use of toxic materials in the production of our pots.
We have also chosen to recycle – both when it comes to our Vintage collection and our packaging for shipping.
Furthermore, we have a very strong stance on our printed materials (catalogs, postcards, etc.), which we have produced at KLS Pureprint. Here, we always ensure that our material is printed on the most environmentally friendly paper and with their very eco-friendly printing ink.
